Author: Assist. Lecturer Ria Nasif Jassim Introduction Over the past two decades, archaeology has undergone a significant transformation as a result of the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. AI has become one of the most important supporting tools for researchers in discovering archaeological sites, analyzing archaeological data, and protecting cultural heritage. Archaeological excavation is no longer dependent solely on traditional methods. Instead, it increasingly benefits from Machine Learning, Deep Learning, satellite imagery analysis, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Drones. These technologies have contributed to improving the accuracy of discoveries, reducing the time and cost of archaeological investigations, and minimizing destructive interventions at archaeological sites. #Al-Mustaqbal University – The first private university in Iraq
