The Department of Media at the College of Arts and Humanities at Al-Mustaqbal University has announced the opening of applications for preparatory school graduates wishing to enrol in the Department of Media – Journalism Branch, in accordance with the admission requirements and regulations set out in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s admission guide for the current academic year. The department stated that the approved admission averages are 54% for morning study and 52% for evening study. Admission is open to graduates of several academic branches, including Biological Sciences, Scientific, Applied Sciences, Literary Studies, Industrial – Media Technology, Arts, and Vocational Education, in accordance with the provisions of the ministerial guide. The university has set the annual tuition fee at IQD 1,600,000. The opening of applications for the Journalism Branch reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to providing university education opportunities for students wishing to specialise in media and equipping them with the academic knowledge and practical skills required to meet the demands of the media labour market and its rapidly evolving developments.
