The Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries held a promotional event in the Registration Hall on October 6, 2026, which included a meeting with sixth-grade preparatory students to introduce them to the department, its academic specializations, and future career opportunities. The session was supervised by Ms. Zainab Hassan Ali, Mr. Nour al-Din Saad Abis, and Mr. Ahmed Abbas, with the participation of several students from the Department of Chemical Engineering, who shared their university experiences, answered the students’ questions, and explained the nature of the program. This activity is part of the department’s efforts to raise awareness about the fields of chemical engineering and petroleum industries and to help students choose a major that aligns with their interests and future aspirations.
