As part of its ongoing efforts to support scientific research and strengthen academic presence in international scientific forums, Asst. Lect. Mustafa Amir Sabri, a lecturer in the Cybersecurity Department – College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University, has achieved a scientific accomplishment through the publication of his research paper entitled:
“Post-Quantum Cryptography and Alternating Optimization for Securing Resource-Constrained Devices in 6G Networks”
The research has been published on IEEE Xplore, one of the world’s leading digital libraries for scientific research and publications in engineering, technology, computer science, and related fields.
The study addresses Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Alternating Optimization techniques to enhance the security of resource-constrained devices operating within Sixth-Generation (6G) networks. The research comes in response to the rapid development of communication technologies and the growing need for advanced cryptographic solutions capable of addressing future cybersecurity challenges.
The research contributes to emerging directions in cybersecurity, cryptography, and advanced communications, particularly in preparation for the era of quantum computing and the potential challenges it may pose to conventional cryptographic algorithms. This highlights the importance of developing robust cryptographic approaches capable of providing enhanced security against future threats.
