The Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries held an awareness workshop for second-year students titled “Decision-Making and Problem-Solving in University Life,” presented by Eng. M.M. Zaid Ghaith Muhammad and attended by a number of students from the department. The workshop addressed the importance of students developing the skills to identify and analyze academic and everyday problems and challenges and devise appropriate solutions, as well as enhancing their ability to make sound and well-considered decisions in various situations they may face during their university life. The workshop also addressed stress management and dealing with university challenges in a positive manner, thereby helping to boost students’ self-confidence, develop their personal and academic skills, and prepare them for a more successful and stable university experience.
