The Intelligent Medical Systems Department at the College of Science, University of the Future, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Medical Devices Awareness Day” on Monday, October 12, 2026. The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Aya Jamal Haidi, a faculty member in the department, at Hall 109 in the Humanities Building at 10:30 a.m. The seminar addressed the importance of raising awareness about the proper handling of medical devices, focusing on safe use, regular maintenance, and adherence to operating instructions and safety guidelines to help maintain device efficiency and reduce the possibility of malfunctions or errors resulting from improper use. The seminar also highlighted the importance of enhancing students’ and users’ awareness of the role of medical devices in supporting the quality of healthcare services, as well as the need to follow safety procedures and maintain the readiness and efficiency of medical equipment to ensure safer and more effective use. This seminar is part of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department’s efforts to strengthen students’ scientific and awareness-based knowledge and connect their academic specialization with practical applications in the medical and technological fields, in line with the University’s commitment to supporting quality education and promoting knowledge in modern medical disciplines. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
