The Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Developing University Education," presented by Assistant Lecturer Rafal Qusay Fadhil, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This workshop aimed to highlight the significant impact and fundamental transformations that artificial intelligence technologies are bringing about in the higher education environment. It explored how to leverage these smart tools to enhance the efficiency of curricula, develop modern teaching methods, and support scientific research, as well as improve the educational experience for both students and faculty. The workshop also discussed how to utilize adaptive learning systems to enhance interaction within classrooms, focusing on employing artificial intelligence algorithms to accelerate and improve the quality of research outputs. Furthermore, it addressed the ethical dimensions and responsibilities arising from the use of smart technologies in educational institutions. All professors, researchers, and students interested in the future of education and technology were invited to participate, attend, and benefit from this distinguished scientific presentation. This scientific workshop is part of a series of academic and developmental activities that the department is committed to providing to empower students and develop their practical skills in the digital job market.
