The College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University held a workshop entitled “Art Criticism and Visual Appreciation” on 13 October 2026, delivered by Prof. Dr. Hamid Abbas Mukhaif, a faculty member at the college. The workshop explored the importance of art criticism and visual appreciation in developing aesthetic awareness and enhancing students’ ability to interpret and analyze artworks, their elements, and compositions. It also aimed to strengthen artistic evaluation skills and broaden creative perspectives. The workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting learning, developing critical and creative skills, and promoting artistic and aesthetic awareness, thereby contributing to quality education that encourages analytical thinking and innovation. This activity reflects the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to promoting scientific and artistic initiatives and integrating sustainable development principles into arts education.
