Under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, and as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Department of Medical Biotechnology organized a scientific seminar entitled “Therapeutic Nutrition and Its Role in Disease Prevention.” The seminar was held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Hall (209) of the Humanities Building. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Iyad Abdulsalam Iyad, who discussed the concept of therapeutic nutrition, its vital role in promoting human health, and its effectiveness in preventing various diseases. The presentation also highlighted the importance of adopting healthy dietary habits to improve quality of life and reduce health risks. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Hasnain Khalil Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Medical Biotechnology, Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Naji, Department Rapporteur, along with the department’s faculty members, who emphasized the significance of the seminar in promoting health awareness and enriching students’ scientific knowledge.
