Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific event to review its achievements and academic and research performance indicators, attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, along with several academic and administrative leaders. The presentations highlighted the university’s results in international rankings, including securing first place among Iraqi private universities in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings for Sustainability 2026, and making its first appearance in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, placing in the 1201–1400 global ranking band. The event emphasized the importance of continuously improving institutional performance, strengthening scientific research, and expanding international partnerships to achieve further excellence and sustainability. These efforts contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, thereby enhancing the university’s position and advancing its academic and research excellence.
