The Department of Financial and Banking Sciences held an awareness workshop entitled “Your Inner Compass: How to Lead Yourself Before Leading Your Al-Mustaqbal?”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Najlaa Salem Musa, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Ghadeer Haider Saeed. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ self-awareness, develop their decision-making skills and sense of responsibility, and contribute to building a conscious, independent university personality capable of shaping Al-Mustaqbal with confidence and awareness. The workshop addressed the importance of discovering one’s personal abilities and potential, setting Al-Mustaqbal goals, and working towards achieving them through practical and well-planned steps. It also highlighted the role of self-confidence in facing challenges and overcoming difficulties, as well as the importance of independence in decision-making and avoiding the negative influence of others’ opinions when determining personal and professional paths. The workshop emphasized the need for students to have a clear vision of their Al-Mustaqbal, strengthen their ability to guide themselves, and take responsibility for their choices. These qualities help students make informed decisions that align with their ambitions and capabilities, contributing to the development of independent university students who can confidently and responsibly meet the demands of academic and professional life. This workshop is part of the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences’ commitment to developing students’ personal skills and raising their awareness of the importance of Al-Mustaqbal planning and building an academic and professional path based on self-confidence, awareness, and responsibility.
