The Department of Media at the College of Arts and Humanities at Al-Mustaqbal University has announced the opening of applications for graduates of preparatory school from various academic branches who wish to enrol in the Journalism branch for the current academic year. Admissions will be conducted in accordance with the official regulations and instructions outlined in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s admissions guide. The admission requirements set the minimum average at 54% for morning studies and 52% for evening studies. Applications are open to graduates of all eligible academic and vocational branches, including Biological Sciences, Scientific, Applied Sciences, Literary Studies, Industrial (Media Technology), Arts, and Vocational Education. The annual tuition fee has been set at IQD 1,600,000. This initiative reflects the strategy of Al-Mustaqbal University and its Department of Media to expand access to advanced specialised education and equip young people with the knowledge, practical skills, and technological expertise required by the rapidly evolving digital journalism landscape. The department also affirmed that the registration and admission process operates smoothly and in accordance with the Ministry’s applicable regulations.
