The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired the second University Council meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in the presence of council members to discuss key academic and administrative developments, review strategic plans, and follow up on ministerial directives. The University President emphasized the importance of sustaining achievements and strengthening the university’s presence in international rankings, particularly the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and UI GreenMetric. He also highlighted the need to expand international partnerships, benefit from Erasmus+ programmes and Jean Monnet Actions, and enhance cooperation with universities worldwide. The Council also discussed supporting student activities, implementing ministerial directives, intensifying promotional campaigns for academic programmes, and updating curricula to improve educational quality and strengthen the university environment. The meeting concluded by reaffirming the university’s commitment to implementing its strategic plans and strengthening its position in academic excellence, scientific research, and sustainability.
