The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the launch of the official “Third Step” in the student admission process, enabling students to submit their applications and reserve study places across all private universities and colleges. This provides preparatory school graduates with a crucial and direct opportunity to choose the Journalism Programme within the Department of Media at Al-Mustaqbal University. The Ministry’s electronic application system has set next Tuesday as the final deadline for applications and the confirmation of study places.
This promotional stage represents an ideal opportunity for students passionate about modern media to join one of the most technologically advanced academic programmes. The Journalism Programme focuses on equipping young professionals with the technological expertise and practical skills required to master digital journalism, content creation, and online platform management, in line with the rapidly evolving demands of the media labour market.
The activation of this general application stage allows students to complete their registration procedures smoothly through the university campus’s guidance centres. Admission and competition regulations cover graduates of all academic and vocational streams, including Scientific, Biological Sciences, Applied Sciences, Literary Studies, Arts, Industrial Studies (Media Technology), and Vocational Education. The minimum admission averages are 54% for morning studies and 52% for evening studies, with annual tuition fees of IQD 1,600,000.
