The Department of Radiological Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a specialized practical workshop entitled “How to Use Contrast Media in Medical Imaging” at the department’s Radiological Imaging and Examinations Laboratory. The workshop was attended by fourth-year students and graduates and delivered by Assist. Lecturer Ahmed Salman Jassim. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ scientific knowledge and practical skills in the use of contrast media in medical examinations, focusing on their applications in conventional radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It also highlighted the principles of proper use and the importance of adhering to safety procedures to ensure examination quality and diagnostic accuracy. This workshop is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to develop the professional competencies of students and graduates, bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, and prepare qualified personnel capable of keeping pace with advances in medical imaging technologies.
