As part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and serve the community, the Department of Community Health Technologies at the College of Medical and Health Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a field-based health awareness activity during the registration period for newly admitted students. The activity was attended by Prof. Dr. Aqeel Handil Tarish Al-Judhary, Head of the Department, the department rapporteur, administrative and technical staff, and students. The activity included a range of basic health screenings and measurements, including weight, height, and blood pressure measurements, as well as Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation. Participants were also informed about the importance of understanding and regularly monitoring health indicators and the role of balanced nutrition and physical activity in preventing obesity and high blood pressure. The activity aims to strengthen awareness of early health screening and encourage positive health behaviors among students and their families, in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University’s mission to support public health and promote health awareness throughout the community.
