As part of the implementation of the scientific cooperation agreement between Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Baghdad, and under the directives of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University signed a twinning and scientific and academic cooperation agreement with the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad. The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed. The accompanying delegation included Prof. Dr. Mohsen Abd Ali Al-Furaiji, Advisor to the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University; Dr. Ali Kamel Karim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Mardas, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Razouqi Janjoon, Head of the Architecture Engineering Department; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Thaer Raouf, Head of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department. The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of academic expertise, develop academic curricula, conduct joint research, organize scientific workshops and conferences, and enhance student training and activities, thereby contributing to improving the quality of engineering education and scientific research. This initiative comes as part of the vision of Al-Mustaqbal University’s Presidency and the College of Engineering’s Deanship to expand scientific partnerships with prestigious Iraqi universities and strengthen academic and research integration.
