In an academic experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Future University, provided second-year students with an opportunity to transform their engineering ideas into practical designs through the construction of bridge models, as part of a scientific competition involving nine student teams.
The competition was held in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, under the supervision of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Waheed Falah, and with the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Uday Hamza Al-Mamouri and Lecturer Lina Hussein Ali, who guided the participating teams throughout the competition.
This experience provided an opportunity to develop engineering thinking, planning, and design skills, while promoting teamwork and the exchange of ideas among students through the construction of engineering models that demonstrated their ability to transform scientific concepts into practical applications.
These activities reflect Future University's commitment to developing engineering education methods and preparing students with the scientific knowledge and practical skills needed to address future engineering challenges.
