Students of the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, organised an extensive recreational and social trip to the federal capital, Baghdad, specifically to the facilities of the Tourist Island. The trip was attended by a large student delegation, with the participation and coordination of the Department’s supervising staff and committees, in line with the University’s annual plans to promote extracurricular activities and strengthen cultural and social ties among students.
The trip, which took place in an atmosphere of friendship, joy, and positive student interaction, included several field and recreational tours throughout the Tourist Island. Students took part in cultural activities, games, and extracurricular competitions organised during the visit. The student committees ensured a high level of organisation, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the development of communication skills. These activities helped create an open and engaging social environment that offered a welcome break from the routine of academic lectures while fostering teamwork and a stronger sense of institutional cohesion.
Organising this recreational trip reflects the College and the Department of Business Administration’s commitment to revitalising students’ physical and mental well-being at the beginning of the academic semester, while fostering their sense of citizenship and belonging. This initiative forms part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic vision and reinforces its distinguished position as Iraq’s leading private university, with representation in internationally recognised university rankings.
