Blockchain technology is considered one of the modern technologies that has contributed to developing data storage, sharing, and verification methods. It relies on a distributed digital ledger that allows transactions to be recorded and shared among multiple participants without depending on a single central authority. This technology has gained importance in cybersecurity due to its security features, including encryption, decentralization, transparency, and resistance to data tampering. Blockchain contributes to information protection by ensuring data integrity, verifying digital identities through digital signatures, and monitoring activities within systems and networks. It can also be used to secure system logs, protect Internet of Things (IoT) devices, track transactions and supply chains, and implement smart contracts that automatically execute operations according to predefined conditions. Despite these advantages, blockchain technology faces several security challenges, including smart contract vulnerabilities, private key theft, privacy concerns, and network attacks. Therefore, its secure implementation requires appropriate measures such as effective key management, smart contract auditing, API security, and selecting suitable consensus mechanisms. With continuous technological advancements, integrating blockchain with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced encryption technologies represents a promising opportunity to develop more reliable and secure digital systems and strengthen protection against emerging cyber threats
