An Awareness Campaign Entitled “Managing Your Time Makes a Difference The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Managing Your Time Makes a Difference,” conducted by **Asst. Lect. Maryam Mohammed Musa, Asst. Lect. Ghadeer Haider Abbas, and Asst. Lect. Doaa Hazim Aziz**. The campaign aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of time management and organization as essential life skills that contribute to academic success and personal development, while promoting a culture of advance planning and optimal time utilization in various aspects of daily life. The campaign included a series of guidelines and recommendations focusing on the importance of organizing time, setting priorities according to the nature of daily tasks and commitments, establishing clear and achievable goals, and preparing schedules to organize study hours and various activities. It also emphasized the importance of breaking down major tasks into smaller steps to facilitate their completion and avoid accumulation and procrastination. Furthermore, it highlighted the need to avoid procrastination and distractions, particularly excessive use of electronic devices and social media platforms, due to their negative impact on time management and concentration. The campaign also emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between academic and personal life, allocating sufficient time for rest, relaxation, and beneficial activities, in addition to developing self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, and commitment to planned schedules. It further addressed the role of effective time management in reducing psychological stress caused by accumulated assignments and tasks, as well as enhancing self-confidence and a sense of achievement, which positively reflects on academic performance and productivity. This campaign comes as part of the efforts to promote awareness and organizational skills among students and strengthen their ability to use their time positively and effectively. It is based on the understanding that time is a valuable resource that cannot be replaced, and that success is not achieved merely by completing numerous tasks, but through effective planning, organization, and the ability to set priorities.
