As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to developing its educational environment and advancing practical learning, the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, conducted a field visit to several laboratories across the Medical Colleges to review the available facilities, laboratory equipment, and their role in supporting the educational process and students’ practical training.
During the visit, the President met with groups of students, emphasizing the importance of diligence, perseverance, and making the most of available educational opportunities to acquire knowledge and practical experience. This, he noted, would prepare them to enter the labour market with confidence, competence, and professionalism. He also directed the relevant departments to ensure the provision of all necessary laboratory supplies and to continuously update equipment and devices, thereby ensuring the effective implementation of practical experiments and strengthening students’ scientific and practical skills.
On the sidelines of the visit, the University President reviewed an initiative to launch a digital platform, representing a promising step towards adopting digital transformation across various university operations. The platform aims to support laboratory management, improve work procedures, enhance operational efficiency, and employ modern technologies in serving the educational process.
The President was accompanied during the tour by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, who emphasized that such field visits reflect the University Presidency’s commitment to closely monitoring the educational environment, identifying the needs of students and academic staff, and developing laboratory and digital infrastructure. These efforts contribute to enhancing the quality of education and linking academic knowledge with practical application and labour market requirements.
