A delegation chaired by Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College visits Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to discuss the themes of the joint conference on achieving sustainable development.
Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University has chaired the College delegation in a visit to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in order to confer with partners on the themes of the “1st International Conference on Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”, which has been scheduled to be held in Elton Bash University in Istanbul.
The delegation has been welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanim, the Vice President for Scientific Affair.
During the meeting, attended by the members of scientific committees representing both universities, the issue of amending certain paragraphs, as identified by Alton Bash University, has been widely discussed, coming up with an update to the themes of the conference, taking into consideration all the means that lead to serving Sustainable Development Goals.
Continuity of joint work shall keep on with the focus on assessment of research to be performed by specialized professors, in addition to being published on Scopus and AIP. The Conference shall accept posters, research papers and unindexed studies, which address challenges and problems related to poverty, hunger, health, education, justice, equality, energy, water, agriculture, and a sustainable economy.
