As per the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al Mustaqbal University College, which concern the active interaction and communication with the other scientific research institutions and centers, a group of MUC Academics has arranged a visit to the Industrial Development & Research Authority at the Ministry of Industry & Minerals. These Academics are Dr. Rami Qais Malik, Dr. Zahraa Hashim Kareem, Dr. Marwan Abbas Madhloum, and Ms. Israa Hussein Muweishi.
At their arrival, they have been received by the Engineer Dr. Ahmed Younis, the General Director of the Industrial Development & Research Authority, in addition to Mrs. Alaa, Head of the Coordination Unit with Universities.
During the meeting there has been a discussion regarding the joint scientific research cooperation between the Authority and Al-Mustaqbal University College. For his part, Dr. Rami Qais Malik, Head of the Visiting Delegation, has submitted a detailed explanation about the College establishment, its Departments, and accomplishments, achieving recently the First Place among Private Colleges & Universities as per the Iraqi Ranking for Universities. Furthermore, Al-Mustaqbal University College is persistently exerting all possible efforts to successfully accomplish the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In his speech, the General Director of the Authority has reviewed the Centers & Departments of the Authority with their most essential activities, including the conferences as well as the research and discussion seminars, expressing at the same time his inclination to establish and promote cooperation between the Authority members and the College Academics. A copy of the Research Cooperation Agreement has been submitted to MUC Delegation so as to be reviewed by the College Deanship.
It is considerable to note that the Visiting Delegation has toured through most of Authority Centers accompanied and guided by selected members. Some these Centers are

4. National Center for Packaging
5. Chemical and Petrochemical Research Center
6. National Corrosion Center
7. Veterinary Drugs Research and Production Center
At the end of the visit, and while taking souvenir photos, the delegation has appreciated and thanked the General Director of the Authority for his warm welcome.
