The Academic Dr. Alaa Muhammad Hussein Wayis of the Bio Medical Engineering Department at Al-Mustaqbal University College participated in “The 2nd International Conference on Engineering & Advanced Technology”, which was held in Istanbul / Turkey on 28th March 2022, and lasted for two days. The conference has been organized in presence as well as electronically by Al-Qadisiyah University in cooperation with a Turkish University.
It is considerable to note that Dr. Alaa has participated in two papers, the first a joint research with Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College under the title
“Studying the mechanical and microstructural properties of the AA2040 aluminum alloy welded by Friction Stir welding”
Whereas the second research is a joint work with Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheem Kadhim Abid Ali, College of Materials Engineering, University of Babylon, and it is entitled
“Studying the behavior of Ni-Co-P and Ni-Co-P-B4C electroless coatings and heat treatment on mechanical and corrosion properties of AISI 4140 steel”

It is note worthy that the papers have been approved for publication in the conference journal “AIP Conference Proceeding”. Besides, the academic has been appreciated with Certificates of Participation & Attendance.
