Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College has received a delegation representing the Research & Industrial Development Corporation at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. The delegation has been headed by Dr. Ahmed Younis, Director General of the Corporation.
Both parties have widely discussed the procedures required for activating the role of Scientific Research, in addition to reinforcing cooperation with Al-Mustaqbal University College, as being an essential contributor in the development of applied research and joint work in the fields of Renewable Energy, Environment, Fuel, Pharmaceutical Industries as well as dyes. Types of coordination with the Engineering & Medical Departments has also been investigated.
It is considerable to note that a Memorandum of Cooperation has been concluded, which has focused on a number of issues, including exchanging experiences, managing and implementing applied research, organizing a conference on Nanotechnology, in addition to arranging workshops and forums that specifically deal with the Pharmaceutical Challenges.
We are obliged to note as well that the delegation has been taken in a tour through the corridors and laboratories of the College. Dr. Younis, the General Director of the Corporation has been so pleased to express his endorsement of the outstanding progress being achieved and developed in the various aspects of the College.
At the end of the meeting, Shields have been exchanged between the College and the Corporation, and for his part, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College has appreciated the delegation for the valuable visit they have paid to the College, promising that joint scientific research shall be developed between them. In his reply, the Director General of the Corporation, Dr. Younis, has sincerely expressed his deep thanks for the warm welcome, emphasizing that positive cooperation shall be promoted between them, making use of all available expertise to develop the National Industry in Iraq.
