Under the guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, Women Empowerment Unit, and in cooperation with Building & Construction Engineering Department, organized on 25th October, 2022 an Awareness Workshop entitled
“Early Examination of Breast Cancer”
In addition to raising awareness among females about the necessity of taking such procedure, i.e. the early examination, congregating these workshops goes in line with the on-going efforts to achieve SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being, one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A lecture indeed has been delivered by Dr. Rajaa Jawad Khadhim from Babylon Health Department, in which she has emphasized the vitality of “Breast Cancer Early Examination” as it plays an essential role in treatment and recovery during the early stages of Breast Cancer. Such procedure could be implemented through self-checkup, or under the supervision of specialized doctors, especially for women who exceed the age of 40.
For its part, World Health Organization has had its own crucial role in raising awareness among females, and encouraging for Early Examination of Breast Cancer.
