In an attempt to integrate those who are featured with their special needs into society as well as into the Academic Community, and bring them joy and happiness, Al-Mustaqbal University College has honored the Heroes of Determination through various activities and participations in order to proudly display their success stories.
We are obliged to gladly announce that these Heroes of Determination have been honored by Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College with Shields of Appreciation, in addition to a Financial Reward.
This Festival has been performed under the slogan
“Bullying may destroy a person's life. Do not bully. Do not abuse. Be a good friend”
As stated above, there have been a variety of activities, including cinematic films, theatrical performances for nine people with special needs, piano playing, drawings, and an operetta show. The Festival has witnessed as well Photo Exhibitions that have been organized by a group of persons with special needs. Besides, it is remarkable to note that the Festival has been administered by Ms Aya Al-Qaisi.
For his part, Mr Ahmed Hasan Shakir, Head of the Central Student Activities Division, has confirmed that Al-Mustaqbal University College shall proceed on supporting the Heroes of Determination so as to integrate them into the Academic Community, providing them with all types of assistance, and giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their scientific, cultural and social talents.
