On 20th December 2022, and under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, the Optics Department organized its First Future Forum for Optics Technologies under the slogan
“Scientific Forums Constitute our Route Towards Construction & Promotion”

The Forum has comprised a set of Scientific Lectures in the Field of Optical Techniques and Optometry, in addition to Community Events, such as an Exhibition for Medical Device Companies & Lenses and a Book Fair. Besides, the Forum has witnessed an effective presence of Academic and Scientific Institutions, including the Medical Technical College, College of Engineering at Diyala University, College of Medicine at Babylon University, Technical Institutes of Baquba and Baghdad, Iraqi Inventors Association, Babylon Health Directorate, and Noor Al-Hussein Association for the Blind at Al-Hussainiya Holy Shrine.
It should be noted as well that the rapporteur of Optics Department has confirmed that the main objective of this Scientific Forum is to broaden the horizons of scientific cooperation with Academic and Community Institutions in order to keep pace with the on-going development in the Field of Optics Technology.
