Under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, Student Activities Division, and in Cooperation with Women Empowerment Unit, has organized a Festival with a Bazaar on the Occasion of International Women’s Day, raising the Slogan

“Woman is the Flower of Life”

It is remarkable to note that the Festival has focused on the various achievements accomplished by women in the different fields of life, social, economic, cultural and political, with particular emphasis on Gender Equality as an essential step towards a more Sustainable Future. On the other hand, divergent Women’s Products have been exhibited in the Bazaar that has been organized during the Festival.
We should note as well that the Festival Program has included
“A Success Story of a Babylonian Woman”
Besides, there have been a lot of activities that aim to reveal and promote Women’s Talents, Hobbies, and other Capabilities, including Painting, Music, Poetry, etc. The Festival indeed has been an opportunity to honour Woman on her Day, admitting her rights to live in Pride & Dignity.
