October 14th of every year is considered as the World E-Waste Day, which aims to increase awareness among people about the dangers of Electronic Waste that is notably growing in amount, and the emergent necessity to recycle this Waste through the utilization of environmentally friendly methods. Accordingly, serious efforts as well resources shall be provided to face the recycling challenge in question.
As for Al-Mustaqbal University Initiatives regarding disposal of E-Waste, we may refer to two main issues:
1. Conducting Awareness Campaigns that aim to encourage Local Community for the application of Electronic Sustainability Methods through focusing on the dangers of E-Waste that have to be suitably disposed of.
2. Establishing a new committee within the University Stores Team that shall be in charge of preserving Expired Electronic Devices until a decision is taken towards them.
