It is remarkable to note that the Second Session of Al-Mustaqbal University Council has been convened, being chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, where several decisions have been taken. First of all, the Organization Structure for the Academic Year 2023-2024 has been approved. Secondly, a decision related to Fees Reduction for Outstanding Students has been approved as well.
Moreover, a timetable, to be implemented during next week, has been determined for distributing Excellence Certificates as well as Appointment Orders of Top Graduates in the various University Departments. The Timetable shall start with College of Engineering on October 21st, followed by College of Technology & Health Sciences on October 22nd, and so on for the rest of Colleges. Service Loan of some Faculty Members has been agreed upon as per the need for that.
The University President in his speech has referred to the necessity for increasing Scientific Publishing and Citation of the University’s Research in Worldwide Journals, and thus strengthening and maintaining its status that has already been achieved, in addition to promoting Quality of Education at all levels. The issue of Suspended Students and the procedures to be adopted in order to return them to study have also been taken into consideration.
Finally, the Meeting has been concluded by thanking attendees, with specific emphasis on the necessity to be quite ready and well-prepared to welcome New Students.
