Under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, College of Physical Education & Sports Sciences has celebrated its First Establishment Anniversary on Tuesday 24th October 2023, and being directly supervised by Prof. Dr. Mazin Hadi Gzar, Dean of the College.
It is remarkable to note that the Festival has been organized under the slogan
"Our Students are Our Pride, being Symbol of Creativity & Talents"
The Festival, which has been attended by the President Assistant of Al-Mustaqbal University for Scientific Affairs, Assist Prof. Dr. Abbas Abid Ali Al-Bawi, Heads of Departments, University College Deans, in addition to the Academics and Employees, has started with playing the National Anthem, reciting Surat Al-Fatiha on the souls of Iraqi and Palestinian Martyrs, and then followed by a Speech delivered by Assist Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, the President Assistant for Scientific Affairs.
We should note as well that divergent Sports, Cultural and Musical Activities have been conducted during the Festival, in addition to honoring Top Students and Graduates, distribution of Certificates and Shields, Study Fees Reduction Orders, and Appointment Orders of Outstanding Graduates.
It is worth noting that an Artistic Performance, expressing solidarity with the Palestinians has also been conducted. Besides, Souvenir Photos have been taken as well on this wonderful occasion.
