It is considerable to note that Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi has received Ostrava University Delegation of Czech Republic accompanied by members of Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, and this visit comes as part of enhancing cooperation in the various fields of Culture & Technology.
We are obliged to note however that Consultant Engineer Zaman Ali Musa, Mayor of Hilla City and Leader of Engineers Syndicate, Babylon Branch has been on head of the Delegation, where they have been warmly welcomed by Assist Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abid, Dean of the Engineering College with Heads of Departments and Academics. After that, the Delegation has been taken in a tour through the University Laboratories, where they have expressed their appreciation of the Urban Development with the Cultural and Educational Environment, in addition to the High Level of Research. An Agreement has been concluded between the two Parties to organize Joint Conferences and Symposiums as well as Training Students.
At the end of the Meeting and Visit, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the University President has thanked the Delegation Members who have been honored with Commemorative Shields representing the Babylonian Civilization & the Obelisk of Hammurabi in appreciation of attending and visiting Al-Mustaqbal University.
