Under the Guardianship of Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, with the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Activities of University Short Film Festival 2023-2024 have been launched with wide participation of Public as well as Private Colleges and Universities under the Slogan
“Iraqi University Students are Messengers of Art & Beauty”
It is remarkable to note that dozens of films have been screened at the Student Activities Hall, in addition to delivering a variety of Artistic Lectures. We should note as well that the films submitted at the Festival have been examined by Ministerial Committees so as to make sure that they meet all the Competition Requirements.
Finally, we are obliged to confirm that Al-Mustaqbal University is hosting the Short Film Festival for five days, and on the last day, First Place Winners as well as Individual Awards shall be announced and distributed.
