On Saturday 16th December 2023, Al-Mustaqbal University Council convened a Complementary Session, being chaired on behalf of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, by Assist Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, the President Assistant for Scientific Affairs, in presence of Assist Prof Dr. Munthir Fadhil Hassan, President Assistant for Administrative Affairs and the College Deans.
At the Beginning of the Meeting, the Chairman has welcomed by the name of the University President all the Council Members, thanking them for all the Distinguished Efforts exerted for the purpose of achieving the University Vision and occupying Higher Positions in the various fields of Education & Scientific Research at all levels, Local, Regional and International.
It is remarkable to note that a number of decisions have been taken including the following:
Adherence to the University Exams Timing
Implementing the Ministry’s Directives regarding Students Admission in both Morning & Evening Studies.
Following up First-Year Students Attendance, in addition to sitting to their exams, especially of the colleges adopting Bologna Process so as to identify extent of application, and readiness for implementation.
Besides, it has been confirmed that the University Presidency is keen on pursuing all academic and administrative issues, with specific focus on the Output Quality, and exerting all possible efforts to overcome any obstacles or difficulties that might face the University Members, including Academics, Employees and Students. Accordingly, the Integrated Academic Environment already created inside the University shall be maintained and promoted on behalf of Students and in a way that leads to achieving the University Goals and Aspirations.
It is worth noting that during the Meeting, a group of Scientific & Social Programs have been introduced for implementation during the current as well as the next Academic Year, and the necessity to determine their benefit in achieving the University Vision, in addition to activating the Students Role towards Community Service.
At the end of the Meeting, the Chairman has thanked all the Council Members wishing them a Happy New Year. ​
