Academics and Students of Power Mechanics Techniques Engineering Department Organize a Volunteer Activity on behalf of Al-Rahman Specialized Center for Autistic Children

Under the guardianship of Assist Prof Dr. Azher M. Abid, Dean of Engineering College, being directly supervised by Head of Power Mechanics Techniques Engineering Department, a group of First Year Students with their Teachers have organized a Volunteer Activity on behalf of Al-Rahman Specialized Center for Autistic Children. This Initiative aims to provide support and assistance to those children, and meanwhile creating opportunities to learn about Technical & Recreational Skills that would contribute to improving their daily life.
As a matter of fact, such Voluntary Initiatives that are organized by Universities and Educational Institutions for the benefit of Autistic Kids are indeed good opportunities for Communication and Joint Cooperation among the various Community Sectors, in addition to establishing appropriate environment for those children, and meanwhile raising awareness and understanding of their individual needs.
Finally, we should keep in our mind that these Activities do enable Students as well as their Teachers to employ their Skills and Knowledge to serve the Community and achieving tangible benefit for its members. At the same time, these initiatives do play an essential role in the enhancement of cooperation, empathy and social interaction among people.
