Part of his permanent follow-up to the various work joints, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has convened an Expanded Meeting, which has included Head of Supervision & Follow-up, Heads of Research Centers, Scientific Departments and Divisions at the University Presidency, in addition to a number of concerned Employees.
At the start of his Speech, the University President has pointed out that the Outstanding Achievements accomplished by the University during the previous period and at various levels has placed the University before the challenge of maintaining the already Achieved Success and providing higher degrees of performance, which undoubtedly requires everyone to exerting redoubled efforts, working in a Team Spirit, and enhancing the Values of Loyalty and Belonging to the University.
As a matter of fact, the Meeting has witnessed a general review of what has been achieved during the previous period with regard to a number of vital issues, comprising Scientific Research, International Ranking Results, Journals, Activation of Agreements concluded with Local and Foreign Universities, in addition to the University Procedures in the Field of Sustainable Development, taking into consideration the largest Qualitative Scientific Event in Iraq that has been recently organized at Al-Mustaqbal University represented by the Sustainability Week Festival, with the dozens of Scientific, Cultural and Artistic Activities included and related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In another aspect of his Speech, Prof Dr. Majdi has emphasized the necessity to activating the Scientific Research Centers that have been recently established, namely the Energy Research Center and the Artificial Intelligence Center. Furthermore, he has also called for a Comprehensive Review and Objective Evaluation of all Scientific Activities and Events carried out by the University, taking into account the Evaluation Results to be an Essential Reference on which a realistic and implementable Future Plan can be built so as to ensure the most appropriate conclusions.
