Al-Mustaqbal University President receives the Delegation of Central Technical University, and Discussions for Joint Scientific Cooperation are being conducted.

In accordance with the Policy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that aims to promoting partnerships between Public & Private Universities, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has received the Delegation of the Central Technical University, including Prof Dr. Salim Hreiz Jassam, Dean of Technical Instructors Training Institute, and Dr. Ghadhanfar Abbas Hussein, Dean of Technical Institute Baqubah, with a number of Academics. The Delegation Visit has been focusing on the establishment of genuine and effective cooperation that would lead to developing Scientific & Cultural programs of both Universities.
It is remarkable to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has welcomed the Visiting Delegation, confirming the importance of strengthening partnership between the two universities, particularly through the many common areas on which work could be carried out, in addition to initiating preparations for a Scientific & Engineering Conference by the formation of a working group confined with specific timing and scheduling of priorities. He added that such Joint Scientific Conference shall be a promising start for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding that has been concluded between the two Universities earlier.
We should note however that the Meeting has been attended by Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision, as well as Assist Prof Dr. Azher M. Abid, Dean of Engineering College. During the Meeting, it has been agreed in principle on the Title of the Conference, Initial Timing and the Main Themes, which include most Engineering Disciplines, primarily Fuel & Energy Engineering and Environmental Engineering, in addition to other areas relevant to the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
