Al-Mustaqbal University President Participates in "Iraq-UK Higher Education Dialogue"

It is considerable to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has participated in "Iraq-UK Higher Education Dialogue" that has been organized in London, and in cooperation with the British Council, during the period 22nd – 23rd May, 2024.
Being under His Guardianship, His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, has launched "Iraq-UK Higher Education Dialogue".
We are obliged to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University President has conducted Meetings with Representatives of some British Universities, including Aston University, Bradford, Loughborough, Canfield Metropolitan, Newcastle, Cambridge, Sussex, Teeside University, and others. Lots of discussions have been carried out, focusing on Joint Research Initiatives and Academic Exchange that would undoubtedly lead to the Development of Education Programs, especially those related to Medical Fields, Engineering, and Competence Promotion, for the purpose of keeping pace with Global Academic Trends.
The Ministerial Delegation has included Counselor Prof Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, Director of Scholarships Department, Director of Private Education, Presidents of Iraqi Public Universities, including University of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriya, Kufa, Central Technology, Mosul, in addition to Private Universities, with a number of Advisors and Experts, and they all have submitted their ideas and opinions related to the Proposed Initiative launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
It is remarkable to note that the Delegation has paid a visit to the University of London, where Prof Dr. Majdi has studied and graduated. Moreover, a Celebration has been organized by the Iraqi-British Business Centre, and the Attendees have highly appreciated the Agreement signed between Al-Mustaqbal University and the Malaysian USM University, which has been widely discussed by Counselor Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan in his Speech about successful experiences in the Field of Education.
The Delegation has also had a Meeting with Mr. Jaafar Al-Sadr, the Iraqi Ambassador in the UK, and issues related to activating Cooperation Mechanisms via the Embassy and Cultural attaché in London have been raised during the Meeting.
