As part of Al-Mustaqbal University Plans to expand Local and International Partnerships with Universities, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the University President has paid a Visit to Dohuk Polytechnic University to attend the Tripartite Meeting, which includes the University Presidents of Central Technical, Al-Mustaqbal, and Dohuk Polytechnic. It should be noted that the Meeting has discussed the Preparations required for the Fifth International Conference on Sustainable Engineering, being organized by the Middle Technical University in Partnership with Al-Mustaqbal University and Dohuk Polytechnic University. We should note as well that the Conference has been scheduled to be convened at the beginning of December 2024, comprising many issues related to Sustainable Engineering, with the participation of Local and International Researchers, in addition to Keynote Speakers representing Reputable Universities.
During the Discussions raised at the Meeting, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University President has clarified that this Visit comes also within the framework of activating the Partnership in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement that has been concluded between the two Universities earlier, and confirming meanwhile that convening this important Conference constitutes indeed a starting point for Cooperation in many areas and issues of common interest, including activation of Joint Scientific Research, Exchange of Professors, Organization of Joint Scientific Workshops and Seminars, as well as Arrangement of Visits among Academics and Students.
For his part, Prof Dr. Wadhah Amir Hatem, President of the Central Technical University, has submitted a Detailed Presentation on the number of Research Papers received, Evaluation Procedures, and the Formation of Committees, emphasizing the importance of Partnership between the Three Universities in the Exchange of Experiences and Success Stories.
Moreover, Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University, has also submitted an Introductory Overview of Al-Mustaqbal University and the Achievements already accomplished in the Fields of Scientific Research, Sustainability and Community Service, being followed by screening a Documentary Film about the University.
It is worth noting that Visiting Delegation of both Al-Mustaqbal University and Central Technical University has been warmly welcomed by the President of Duhok Polytechnic University, Prof Dr. Ari Adil Abdul Qadir, expressing the University Readiness for full Cooperation in the Various Fields of Common interest, and confirming that Dohuk Polytechnic University is quite ready to hosting the Conference, and the coming period shall witness more Cooperation to achieve the Targeted Goals that the Three Universities do aspire to accomplish.
We are obliged to note that the Visiting Delegation has been accompanied by the President of Duhok Polytechnic University, Prof Dr. Ari Abdul Qadir, in a Tour to view the Infrastructure at the University as well as the Sites proposed to be utilized during the Conference, and finally the Visit has been concluded with the Exchange of Shields and Souvenirs.
