Part of Al-Mustaqbal University General Policy with its serious efforts to go global in accordance with the Ministry Regulations to work on the Internationalization of Higher Education in Iraq, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to have a Distinguished Presence at Worldwide Forums. Accordingly, the University has recently participated in the Regular Meeting of the General Assembly of Eurasian Universities Union, which was convened during the period 24th - 25th of October 2024 at Istanbul Aydin University, where Voting for the formation of Presidency Committee has been carried out. It is worth noting that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University has been included in the voting of the Committee Membership.
The Opening Session has been launched with a Speech delivered by Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President of Istanbul Aydin University, in which he has focused on the importance of the role played by Universities to achieve Well-Being and Societal Peace through Positive Exploitation to the Scientific & Human Energies they do possess, represented by Youth Segment. In addition, he has emphasized the vitality of Communication between Member Universities in a way that would lead to achieving the desired benefit for all Parties.
For his part, Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University has conveyed the Warm Greetings of Prof Dr. Majdi to all Attendees, wishing for the Conference Unique Success and Achievement of the Intended Goals. Besides, and during his Speech, he has referred to a number of Initiatives adopted by the University, especially in the Field of Sustainable Development, being quite obvious to all, and clearly demonstrated by the Advanced Positions it has obtained in the Times Impact Ranking of 2024. In this regard, Dr. Al-Zuhairi has extended his invitation to the Participating Universities to establish and promote communication with Al-Mustaqbal University for the purpose of adopting Qualitative Initiatives of Common Interest. As a result, a number of Universities have expressed their willingness to participate in certain initiatives.
We are obliged to note that the Conference Sessions have included important Presentations on Networking Mechanisms between Member Universities, in addition to a Session on Quality Assurance and International Accreditation, both Academic and Institutional, and its relationship to International Classifications, where Al-Mustaqbal University Delegation has expressed the University’s Point of View on these issues.
Finally, it is remarkable to note that Al-Mustaqbal University Delegation has included Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision as well as Dr. Samir Ibrahim Al-Badrawi Director of Cultural Relations.
