On Wednesday 6th November 2024, Middle Euphrates Universities Futsal Championship was closed. This Championship that has been hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University, has witnessed the participation of 19 Public and Private Universities, amid an enthusiastic competitive atmosphere and great encouragement of University Students.
It is remarkable to note that Kut University College Team has been Crowned Champion after defeating Karbala University Team with a score of (4 - 2), whereas Al-Mustaqbal University Team has come in Third Place together with University of Babylon as perthe total number of goals and points.
Accordingly, Sports Teams of Kut University College, Karbala University, Al-Mustaqbal University, and Babylon University have been qualified to represent Middle Euphrates Universities in the Final Futsal Competitionship that would be organized in Baghdad.
We are obliged to note that the Closing Tournament Ceremony has been attended by Prof Dr. Munthir Fadhil Hassan, President Assistant of Al-MustaqbalUniversity for Administrative Affairs, who has distributed the Gifts and Certificates of Appreciation to the Ministerial Committee in charge of supervising the Tournament, Referees Committee in Babylon, and all Representatives of the Participating Universities, in appreciation of their efforts that have been exerted so as to come up with a Distinguished Sports Tournament.
