We would like to note that Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the Deanship of College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, has organized a Sports and Recreational Activity for Orphan Children, in the Presence of Assist Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, President Assistant of Al-Mustaqbal University for Scientific Affairs, as well as Mr. Nael Talib, Director of Youth and Sports in Babylon.
The Festival has included a Welcome Speech delivered by Prof Dr. Sanaa Abdul Amir, Dean of the College of Physical Education & Sports Sciences, who has clarified that this Activity is the Second Annual Festival organized by Babylon Youth and Sports Directorate within the Campus of Al-Mustaqbal University.
It is worth noting that a Martial Arts Show has been submitted by College Academics, in addition to other activities, Entertainment Shows, as well as Movement Games that mainly aim at developing Physical, Mental, and Psychological Qualities of Children.
Besides, and as part of the Festival Event, the College Dean has distributed a number of gifts to Orphan Children. Moreover, Assist Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi has also submitted Appreciation Gifts to the New Teachers who have been recently appointed to the Ministry of Education Staff, and have been Lectures at the College before that. Top Students of previous years have also been honored.
At the end of the Festival, the Children with their Teachers have been taken in a Tour through the University Campus, followed by serving lunch at the Student Club.
