Under the Guardianship of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Department of Quality Assurance & University Performance at Al-Mustaqbal University has organized an Event on the occasion of “International Quality Day”, in which focus has been concentrated on promoting Culture of Quality and Excellence at the Institutions of Higher Education in the various Academic and Administrative Fields. The Event has been attended by Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in addition to Managers and Members of Quality Assurance & University Performance Department.
The Event however has included a Scientific Workshop submitted by Prof Dr. Ali Al-Saffar, Director of Continuing Education Center at Central Technical University, in addition to being a member of the National Council for Institutional Accreditation. It is remarkable to note that Prof Dr. Al-Saffar has addressed in his Workshop Lecture the issue of “Smart Universities” and their role in the improvement of Higher Education Quality. Moreover, he has reviewed the Latest Smart Applications in the Field of Higher Education, clarifying how Technology contributes in the promotion of Academic Performance.
It is worth noting as well that the Event has included honoring a group of Distinguished Cadres representing Quality Assurance Department who have remarkably and effectively contributed to disseminating and implementing Quality Standards within Our University.
Finally, we are obliged to note that Al-Mustaqbal University, through this Event, has been confirming its commitment towards International Standards of Quality as well as its Continuous Keenness to keep pace with Modern Developments in the Field of Higher Education, and thus ensuring the Achievement of the University Vision, being fully embodied in the Academic Excellence and Innovation.
