Under the Guardianship of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, with Direct Supervision of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, College of Law has organized its 4th Legal Conference under the Slogan
"Law is an Effective Instrument with which Contemporary Challenges can be confronted"

It is remarkable to note that the Conference has witnessed the participation of more than 70 Legal Research Papers in the various Law Specializations representing Distinguished Iraqi Universities, being attended by a number of notable personnel, including Judge Muslim Al-Emari, Head of Babylon Appeal Court, Sheikh Habib Al-Hillawi, Member of Iraqi Parliament and Head of Sadiqoun Party, Prof Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, President of Babylon University with his Academic and Scientific Assistants, Judge Hussein Shaker Al-Janabi, Head of Public Prosecution Authority in Babylon, Prof Dr. Miri Al-Kheiqani, Chairman of Deans Committee of Law Colleges in Iraq as well as College of Law Dean at University of Babylon, all along with the presence of College Deans, and Heads of Administrative Units, in addition to a large number of Academics and Researchers coming from different Iraqi Universities, as well as Elite Group of University Students.
We are obliged to note that Prof Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of Law College at our University, has clarified that this Conference, in Partnership with College of Law of Babylon University has aimed to achieve SDG16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions as well as SDG17: Partnerships for Goals. The Conference however has come up with a group of Recommendations being addressed to Iraqi Legislator to be adopted as a Guide for amending and modernizing Current Legislative System.
