We would like to note that Postgraduate Studies of Electronic Engineering and Clinical Anatomy, being hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University in cooperation with the Malaysian USM University, was launched on Saturday Morning, 11th January 2025 under the Guardianship of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, and in the Presence of Prof Dr. Haidar Abid Dhahad, the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs as well as Dr. Faris Mahdi Head of Private University Education Department, and Mr. Adnan Fihan, Governor of Babylon, all along with the Presidents of Babylon and Al-Qasim Green Universities, in addition to the Malaysian USM University Delegation.
The Ceremony has witnessed a number of speeches, in which the Postgraduate Programs, being implemented for the first time in Iraq at the level of both Public & Private Universities, have been highly appreciated. In his Speech, Mr. Adnan Fihan, Governor of Babylon, has noted that University Education Wheel in Iraq has been moving at a fast and confident pace, achieving many notable successes in terms of Studies, Research and Internationally Approved Patents. He has also stressed that Al-Mustaqbal University Initiative to start Postgraduate Studies shall undoubtedly enhance Scientific Cooperation, in addition to opening New Horizons to Students.
For his part, Prof Dr. Haidar Abid Dhahad, the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs, has focused in his Speech on the Challenges that the Postgraduate Programs in question are confronting, indicating that the success achieved here will reflect the extent of Iraq Determination to accomplish such International Program. He has also appreciated the notable efforts that Al-Mustaqbal University has been exerting in order to come up with the required goals. As for Assist Prof Dr. Faris Mahdi, Head of Private University Education Department, he has conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, and highlighting the importance of starting these Programs so as to keep pace with the Scientific Developments in the World.
On the other hand, the Malaysian Delegation, represented by Prof Dr. Talal Yousif, has highly emphasized the importance of Cooperation with Al-Mustaqbal University, being strongly optimistic of building close relations between Malaysia and Iraq, in addition to discussing Concepts of Internationalization and International Cooperation in the Fields of Education.
We are obliged to note as well that the Ceremony has been launched with a Welcome Speech delivered by the Academic Supervisor, Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, who has referred to the Excellence achieved by Al-Mustaqbal University. Another Speech has been delivered by Assist Prof Dr. Hamza Al-Khafaji, in which he has explained the Mechanisms related to the Programs, Examinations, Distribution of Grades, and Scientific Specializations.
In conclusion, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has extended his sincere thanks to all Speakers, Attendees, and those who have been in charge of organizing this important Scientific Event.
