AlMustaqbal University and University of Babylon Explore Enhanced Academic Collaboration

Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, welcomed a high-level delegation from the University of Babylon today, led by University President Professor Dr. Amin Ajil Al-Yasiri. The delegation included Professor Dr. Muhammad Mansour Al-Khafaji, Scientific Assistant to the President, and Professor Dr. Mithaq Talib Al-Jubouri, Administrative Assistant to the President.
This visit underscores both universities' commitment to strengthening academic and scientific collaboration and exchanging expertise to benefit Iraq's educational landscape.
During the meeting, the University of Babylon delegation extended their congratulations to Al-Mustaqbal University on receiving institutional accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and achieving top ranking and distinction in the Iraqi National Classification of Universities (IRU).
Discussions focused on developing cooperation in scientific research, academic exchange, and educational program development to elevate higher education standards in Iraq. Key topics explored included:
* Potential joint research projects.
* Student and faculty exchange programs.
* Joint scientific conferences and workshops.
President Majdi expressed his pleasure with the visit and emphasized Al-Mustaqbal University's dedication to strengthening ties with Iraqi universities to advance the nation's educational goals.
President Al-Yasiri commended Al-Mustaqbal University's efforts in developing higher education and scientific research, expressing his hope that the visit would pave the way for expanded collaboration.
Both parties agreed to establish a joint committee to review the proposals and recommendations discussed and develop implementation strategies.
This visit is part of Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing engagement with various Iraqi educational institutions to foster academic cooperation and enhance higher education throughout the country.
