Under the guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, a delegation of academics and students representing the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department paid a visit to the Union Company for Food Industries Ltd.
The visit was implemented as per direct instructions given by Assist Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abed, Head of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department, and in coordination with the Students Activities Unit.
During the visit, the delegation members were guided in a tour through the various departments of the company, given detailed information about the equipment used in the food industries, and sugar is one of them.
They also had a look at the air conditioning and refrigeration systems used in the company, learning about the types and manufacturers of these systems, including “Chiller Boiler Systems”.
Students raised lots of question and inquiries related to the systems and equipment of the factory, and the site engineers attempted to suitably give replies.
The visit in general resulted in great cooperation and exchange of information between the students and the team of engineers at the company.
