Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College presided on Monday 7th June 2021 the Second Meeting of the International Ranking Committee of Sustainable Development. The meeting started with a comprehensive lecture given by Dr. Hamza Muhammad Ridha Yahya Al-Khafaji, Head of the Research & Studies Unit. The lecture was under the title

“UI GreenMetric World University Rankings: An Overview, Methodology, Evaluation and Benchmarking”
The lecturer provided an accurate description to the methodology of ranking for the year 2021, analyzing meanwhile the performance of Iraqi Universities for the previous years, and specifically focusing on the distinguished results achieved by Al-Mustaqbal University College last year. In addition, the mechanism of future work has been taken into consideration as well.
After that, a number of lectures were delivered by Assist. Prof Dr. Zahra Haleem Al-Qaim, Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Al-Bahrani and Mr. Rafi Assaffar, in which the lecturers reviewed the achievements of Al-Mustaqbal University College as well as its future plans within the SDGs of Health, Water, Quality Education and Eradication of Poverty.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean expressed his admiration, appreciating the hard efforts exerted by the committee members so as to achieve outstanding levels in the Ranking stated above, and confirming the significance of keeping on holding the monthly meetings of the committee in order to accomplish all the plans that have been raised during the meeting.
